Abstracts Approved for ATTD 2016

I just learned that all three of the abstracts I submitted to Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes 2016 have been accepted. Looking forward to more learning and sharing in Milan this coming February.

Each of these abstracts focus on different problem areas in managing diabetes:

  • A HEURISTIC APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN OPEN-LOOP ARTIFICIAL PANCREAS REQUIRING ONLY A BRAIN, INSULIN DELIVERY AND FREQUENT BLOOD SUGAR DATA;

  • INTEGRATING AN AUTOMATED DIABETES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTO THE FAMILY MANAGEMENT OF CHILDREN WITHTYPE 1 DIABETES: RESULTS FROM A 12-MONTH RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TECHNOLOGY TRIAL; and,

  • DIABETES TELEHEALTH INTERVENTION COMPRISING BLOOD SUGAR DATA, HOME A1C, CARE CONTINUITY AND MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING TO EFFECT BEHAVIOR CHANGE IN AN ADULT TYPE 2 DIABETES POPULATION.

In future posts I'll drill down into the studies to share more insight and to help clarify my own thoughts as I complete these manuscripts and posters.
